CBD is a product that has a lot of health benefits and is gaining a lot of traction with consumers. As mainstream opinions soften on CBD, more people have begun using the product. While many people may be familiar with the benefits of CBD, they are unfamiliar with the methods of CBD intake. Which is the best method of CBD intake? What are the pros and cons of each form of CBD? These are all questions that consumers need answers to before they delve into the world of CBD. Here are the different forms of CBD and how to choose which one is best for you.

Oil

One of the most common methods of intaking CBD is through the use of oil. CBD oil has many positives, and unlike some forms of CBD, there are no negative health side effects. One can control how many drops of CBD they take, making it the perfect method of ingestion for beginners who don’t know how it will affect them. CBD oil is also extremely potent, meaning if you’re looking for a strong form of CBD then this would be perfect for you. That being said, there are some downsides to CBD oil. CBD oil can be relatively expensive compared to other forms of CBD, and the taste of CBD oil is notorious for being extremely bad. However, if you’re able to get past these drawbacks, CBD oil could be the perfect method of ingestion.

Tincture

Another form of CBD that is extremely similar to oils in CBD tinctures. Tinctures take CBD and combine them with alcohol and other ingredients. Tinctures are usually taken very similarly to how CBD oil is, but the effects can be quite different. Since tinctures are a mixture of multiple ingredients, the CBD is diluted and its effects are less potent. That being said, the other ingredients in the mixture make CBD tincture taste much better, even allowing it to be mixed in with other foods. As a result, the decision between the two comes down to what you value more in your CBD products.

Edibles

A unique and fun way to take CBD is through CBD edibles. With these products, CBD is put into edible foods such as gummies, cookies, brownies, or candies that can then be consumed. High-quality edibles will have a great taste, while those that are lower quality may not taste that great. In addition, edibles are relatively expensive, and it takes a long time for the benefits of CBD to kick in. However, not having to deal with swallowing capsules or inhaling smoke can be a huge positive for this method of CBD intake.

Dabs

One of the lesser-known methods of CBD intake is CBD dabs. You may have to look a little harder to find CBD dabs for sale, but they can be a great way to intake CBD. CBD Dabs are made from pure CBD concentrate, meaning that they are extremely potent. In addition, you intake dabs from inhaling their vapor, something that enters your bloodstream almost immediately. As a result, using dabs means that you’ll experience the benefits of CBD much stronger and faster, a major selling point of this form of CBD.

Vapes

Another less common way of intaking CBD is through the use of vapes. Much like dabs, CBD vapes involve the user inhaling vapor to instantly receive the benefits of CBD. However, CBD vapes aren’t as potent as dabs simply because they aren’t made of pure CBD concentrate. However, when compared to dabs, vapes are much more portable and discreet, something that can be a major advantage. That being said, with both dabs and vapes, the inhalation of smoke is a major concern. Studies have shown that inhaling any smoke can be detrimental to your lungs, meaning that using either dabs and vapes can have some negative side effects for your respiratory health.

Capsules

An underrated method of intaking CBD is through the use of CBD capsules. Taking CBD in this form is relatively simple, as you just swallow the capsule like you would any other form of medicine. While this sounds extremely convenient, there are some drawbacks. Capsules aren’t the most potent form of CBD, so you won’t get strong effects from taking them. In addition, capsules do not provide instant relief like other forms of CBD do, meaning you’ll have to wait a while for the benefits to kick in. Finally, not everyone has the ability to swallow pills or is comfortable with it, completely ruling out this method of ingestion for those people.
