1. Take Some Breaks and Be Active
Staring at a computer or other screen for hours on end can make eyes and head hurt, so be sure to take some breaks. Get up out of your seat for a few minutes at least once an hour. Stretch, walk around the office, or stand up and walk around a few steps. This will help refresh you, so your brain and body aren’t engaged in the same routine.

2. Sit Up Straight

Also, extend your tailbone and make sure your feet are flat on the floor.
3. Eat Right
To have good health, you need to eat right. Consider eating foods with plenty of protein both before and after work. Choose lean cuts of meat, eggs, and fish with little fat and low sodium. When eating carbohydrates, look for whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. If you have a snack, choose something small with protein. Have a glass of water and a piece of fruit instead of sweets or other high-calorie foods.
4. Get Plenty of Sleep
Sleep is important. When you don’t get enough rest, you can lose focus and make mistakes on the job. Make sure you’re getting enough hours of sleep each night. If you’re not getting enough, try to catch up by going to bed earlier the next night or taking short naps in the afternoon. It’s also important to set a good sleep schedule. Try to go to bed and wake up simultaneously every day. If you sleep too much, try to get up early the next morning.
5. Drink Plenty of Water
Everyone certainly goes to work in the morning with at least a little hungover, so be sure to drink plenty of water when you’re feeling dehydrated. Drink a glass before you head out the door and another every hour or two while at work. Drinking water keeps your mind clear and your muscles hydrated. If you’re having trouble drinking enough water, try to drink more when you’re not thirsty. You can also drink less but increase the amount of water you’re drinking each day.
Remember, your health matters, and good health habits are important for a healthy workplace. Make sure to take time for yourself and make an effort to get some exercise, eat right, and make sure you’re getting the proper amount of sleep.
