1. Maintain Oral Hygiene

4. Change Your Habits 

One thing you can do to speed up the healing process of your implants is to avoid doing activities that hinder your body’s healing systems. This means no smoking or drinking alcohol. 

Both of these habits reduce the efficiency of your immune system, so your body heals slower. 

Smoking also causes mouth dryness. This means you increase your risk of dry sockets. This is when the blood clot that should have formed doesn’t, or it is removed.

Without this blood clot, raw tissue and nerve endings are exposed. You will feel severe pain that can extend across your face.
