Vegetarian food is not only healthy but also extremely fancy nowadays! Though of course not every person is ready to say “No” to meat dishes. Vegetable drumsticks – Pakoras

This unusual and delicious dish came from India. In India every celebration includes this simple but so tasty dish.

You will need:

Wheat flour 5,5 oz (you can also use pea flour instead of wheat flour), parsley, ground black pepper- one teaspoon, turmeric – one teaspoon, baking soda – one teaspoon, salt – one teaspoon, water – 170 mililitres, different vegetables cut in small pieces (you can take for example potatoes, pumpkin, broccoli, Brussels sprouts), cooking oil for frying. How to cook:

Mix together the flour, black pepper, turmeric, salt, baking soda and parsley. Add water and stir well with a whisk until smooth. Vegetables cut into slices, broccoli divide into florets and Brussels keep the way it is. You can use any vegetables you have. In a frying pan warm up the cooking oil. Every slice of vegetables dip thoroughly into smooth and then fry over medium heat until they get crusted over. If you use potatoes, it’s better not to shell them, just wash it thoroughly. Do not use vegetables which are too juicy such as tomatoes or cucumbers. Vegetable marrow and aubergine are good for this dish.

Risotto

This classical Italian dish will be one of the favourite on your holiday table!

You will need:

Arborio rice – one glass, chicken broth – one litre, one glass of white wine, mushrooms, onion,2  tomatoes, dairy batter – 1,7 oz, olive oil, cheese, salt, spices.

How to cook:

Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, add onion, saute until onion is transparent.  Next, add the mushrooms and fry a little, add dairy butter. Add the rice and fry until transparent, add white wine , fry until the wine evaporates.  Add 2 small tomatoes.  Next, slowly add small portions of the chicken broth , so that the rice was covered with the broth, keep on low heat. Simmer for 30 minutes till it is cooked. Sprinkle with cheese and herbs.

Mexican salad

Simple and delicious salad will become a perfect cold appetizer for your holiday menu. Prepare a Mexican salad for a holiday table – you will not regret!

You will need:

Celeriac – 3.5oz, 5.3oz of boiled chicken, red pepper – 1.8oz, 1 egg, 1 onion, lettuce – 3.5oz, 1 teaspoon of vinegar, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt.

How to cook:

To cook this wonderful vegetarian salad you need to grate celeriac, add shredded boiled chicken fillet, thin rings of red pepper and onion, chopped hard-boiled egg and shredded lettuce,  mix all ingredients, add salt to taste and sprinkle salad with a mixture of vinegar and olive oil.
