Louisville’s Bright Future

Louisville is one of the oldest cities in America. It was established in 1780, so long ago it was named after King Louis XVI. The city exists on the borders of the Ohio River, and has housed many famous figures. People ranging from Thomas Edison, to Muhammad Ali, to Tom Cruise and Jennifer Lawrence.

The city today is known in large part for its food options. It houses the normal franchises, but also some unique local joints. American classics tend to be the best in Louisville, an example being Mussel and Burger bar. This isn’t a coincidence either as Louisville was actually where the cheeseburger itself was created.

For the average citizen, a big benefit to living in Louisville is the pricing. For being such a prominent city, it has one of the lowest cost of living in Jefferson County. Compared to national averages, it still rests in the bottom 50%. A cost of living like that is almost unheard of for such a popular city.

What makes Louisville real estate and the city promising moving forward though are its events. Louisville houses some of the biggest arts shows, derbies, and music festivals. These, alongside the unique and active nightlife, make it an appealing option. The blend between appealing prices, a dense history, and a promising future make Louisville an amazing city. Especially in a time where so many are beginning to struggle.
