Whether you are a corporate employee, a business owner or have multiple part-time jobs, we all have that workspace where we spend a considerable amount of time almost at. Not only do we spend tons of time there, we also share the workspace with numerous other people. We keep our home environment clean & make it as comfortable as possible, however not many people think or contribute when it comes to having a healthy work environment which in turn, affects the way we function, perform & feel about our work.

There are two entities involved in this. One is yourself & you can do things that help you stay fit & healthy and secondly it is to make sure that you have a healthy environment at work, not just emotionally but even physically as well.

Some of the best & easy to follow ways to keep yourself healthy at work especially if you have a lengthy desk-based work profile are as follows.

Have a healthy meal before you leave for work or start working (if home is your sacred workspace.)

Spend at least 15 minutes every day exercising. There are numerous videos on YouTube that teach you how to utilize just 15 minutes of your time every day to stay fit or to get fitter.

Be aware of what you eat. It’s always recommended to bring your own food for lunch. I also like to carry a bowl of fruits & nuts to munch on later on in the day, during one of those short breaks we take from work or when I am stuck in traffic.
