Stretch Your Limits by Taking on the Jersey City Half!

In Jersey City, great races seem to happen every weekend. The Jersey City Half will be held on October 27, 2019. It starts and ends in beautiful Lincoln Park with a 2-loop course that winds through the park’s grounds. If you’re not feeling up to a half marathon, there will also be 5K and 10K runs.

All entrants receive a goodie bag with a commemorative t-shirt and finishers receive a fun medal. There’s also a post-race party with bagels, flavored spreads, fruit, and apple cider. Award plaques will be given to the top three male and female runners in various age groups. Registration for the half marathon costs $85.

There are a few things to do in this area that are fun if you are coming from out of town for the race, especially if you want to meet up with other runners and enjoy the historical sites nearby. If you pick hotels close to Statue of Liberty, you can easily stay close to the top sights in New York as well.

This modern, waterfront hotel is a little bit further down than Hyatt House. It’s close to many of the sights including the Empire State Building and Statue of Liberty.
