Many carnivores have been handing in the steak knives and switching to all-vegetarian diets in order to better their long-term health. As shown in a recent study Everyday Health illustrates that those who choose a plant-based diet not only are more likely to be health conscious eaters and drinkers, but they are less likely to develop some of the most common conditions including diabetes and heart disease. While many of us may find it hard to completely cut out meat from our diets, incorporating weekly traditions like ‘Meatless Mondays’ or limiting intake of meats to once a day can help decrease your chances of developing such conditions.
